I've posted both professional and personal work here because I think its valuable for you to see what a photographer does with his craft when he's not working. As you'll see, I love taking pictures of my two girls, just as I've always loved photographing people professionally, and I enjoy finding some of the ordinary things around me that can become striking when framed in the right way. That's my approach to shooting events and portraiture as well - I love finding the little smile that creeps in when you don't realize it, or the brief moment at the reception that reveals the joy in your heart. It's like uncovering the perfect diamond hidden amongst so many other jewels - they're all wonderful, but that's the one that you can't stop looking at, and the one you'll be proud to hang on your wall for years to come.
